Who will be your guide, advanced XC Instructor?
Igor Todevski from Macedonia, rooted in the legendary Kruševo, is the founder of Helix Paragliding Club and one of the most experienced paragliding tour guides in the world!.
With more than three decades of flying experience, Igor is not only an instructor and XC trainer but also an official team pilot for the renowned manufacturer Advance, known for top-tier free-flying equipment.
Flying since 1993 Igor combines passion, expertise, and safety to deliver unforgettable guided flights and XC training at the most attractive paragliding locations.
What will be different?
You will be guided via radio connection during the entire
flight. Igor and our instructors will be flying with you and will help you find
the best way and best thermals on the way to the goal.
After the flights, we have regular evening re-cap of the
day, paying special attention to good and bad moves.
We will have daily instruction on how to fly faster, safer
and with greater efficiency. With joint cooperation, we will analyze how to
make your next moves in the air, when to speed up and when to slow down.
Prior to each flight, we will develop a detailed plan on the
course of your flight.
What Is Our Primary Goal and What Makes Us Happy?
To give you excellent experience and the best XC flights
ever. We would like to give you a chance to break your personal XC records and
put a big smile on your face.
To improve your skills in one week as much as possible. We
are of the standing that, in only one week, you will learn as much as other
people do in least one year.
Why Krusevo?
Krusevo is one of the best and most reliable places on the
planet where you can improve your paragliding skills.
There are many reasons why we believe Krusevo is the most
suitable place for paragliding. Many good pilots from around the world also
agree and support us in that standing.
In the past years, Krusevo was the host for World Cups,
European Championship, national competitions for various countries. The World
Championship in 2019 will also take place in Krusevo. All competitions were
successfully completed, with maximum flying days.
What makes Krusevo the best is the reliable weather
conditions, with almost no strong winds.
Predictable weather.
Safe take offs and safe landings, no matter where you land.
Safe for flying.
The immense valley will give you the privilege of flatland
flying, surrounded with amazing mountains where we can enjoy doing our tasks.
Easy for pick up, due to the high number of villages in the
valley and accessible road to each of them.
Cheap beer, no matter where you land.
Which airport should I fly to?
We usually recommend Skopje International Airport as the easiest option, but transfers can also be arranged from Ohrid or even Thessaloniki (Greece) if needed. Just let us know your travel plan in advance.
Are there activities apart from paragliding?
Yes – plenty! The Krushevo region and Pelagonija Valley offer a variety of things to do: scenic hiking trails, mountain biking, horse riding, adventure parks, SUP paddling on nearby lakes, and beautiful old villages waiting to be explored. You can also enjoy traditional restaurants, wine tastings, and relaxed evenings in cozy cafés and bars.
Can non-flying friends or family join?
Absolutely. We’ll be glad to arrange an airport transfer for them as well. Our accommodation provides a calm and comfortable atmosphere with terraces perfect for relaxing, reading, or just enjoying the mountain views.
Please note that priority in transport goes to pilots, but if there’s extra space in the shuttle, we’re happy to take non-flying companions along. An additional accommodation fee applies for partners or children (depending on age).
