Igor was an awesome guide during our week in early spring. The weather wasn’t always on our side, but he got creative to make sure we got as much airtime as possible. He helped us launch even in pretty strong winds and always had great backup plans when flying wasn’t an option.Aside from the flying, we really enjoyed the good accommodation, the healthy breakfasts and lunches, the super friendly driver, and the great restaurant suggestions in the evening.

The Airzone flight school organizes paragliding trips worldwide and Macedonia has been an annual fixture for over 10 years. Since the beginning Igor has been our local guide in Macedonia and together we have been able to provide a perfect service for our customers all these years. Krusevo is a perfect starting point for XC flying, the way from the accommodation to the launch site is less than 5 minutes. After a long XC flight, we can benefit from the great pick-up service and enjoy our after-flying beer in a bar in Krusevo. Afterwards we go to one of the many good restaurants in Krusevo where our guide reserves a very good dinner for us. Alternative flying areas are Ohrid and Treskavec, so there is never a dull moment in Macedonia.

If you really want to test your limits, I must suggest flying with Igor. It was humbling for me to learn so much in the short time I was with him, even as a pilot of 10 plus years and numerous competitions under my belt. Igor is the real deal, a cloud whisperer. He leads with intelligence and the ability to expand your Paragliding horizons, no matter what level you are at. Igor represents the art of Paragliding, as he is able to parallel process both group as well as individual needs while taking advantage of the conditions of the day. Anytime there was a challenge in the route, Igor would lead and find the next thermal for us. And not just any thermal, always the strongest lift! Flying with him was like having a gas tank in the sky you could fill up whenever you want. I’ve never seen anything like it, and would never consider guiding in Macedonia without him.

Paragliding Macedonia organized a great trip for my XC flying in Macedonia from A to Z. Logistics were organized professionally from airport , to site and timely retrieval after flights . While on the flying , Igor provided clear briefing for the day as well as in-flight guidance that helped me fly better and longer . Igor simplified flying and shared his thermally technique which helped me to learn something new and fly better . In Addition, Igor had a great ability to guide and support big groups in a very efficient way. Each day was different, that let me explore the area in a progressive and safe way . I enjoyed the trip and Krusevo will be a preferred flying site for me from now on, I will be glad to fly with Igor again .

Flying in North Macedonia is an experience you won't want to miss. The organization of the trip by Igor Todevski is perfect. The entire package offered is fantastic. Shuttle, accommodation (e.g., at the Medusa Temple, an original stone house) with breakfast, packed lunch, drinks and fresh fruit during the day, return service, daily briefing and selection of the best route, evening debriefing, and flight escort by Igor. Lubiza, the fairy godmother at the Medusa Temple, always provides a delicious breakfast. Shuttle to and from the airport with no waiting time; you arrive and Adem is already waiting. He also picks you up from the official landing or various xc-landings. This too is done without any significant waiting time. Therefore, everyone gets a tracker, so Igor and Adem know where you are at all times.

The best part for me is Igor's flight escort. His experience and knowledge are enormous and we enjoy learning from him. He not only accompanies experienced pilots on XC flights, but also supports less experienced pilots, instructing them via radio on proper thermal flying and even assisting with takeoffs in stronger winds. All of this is available only if you want it and accept it, without being intrusive. Flying an FAI triangle or simply a route to Lake Prespa, flatland flying, or flying around beautiful Lake Ohrid. The country offers so many possibilities. And if it doesn't work out, Igor always has a backup plan ready. We like it so much that we've already been to Krusêvo four times in 12 months. We're already looking forward to the next time.
